Welcome!

My name is Tricia Sjostrom (pronounced show-strum for this perfectly Swedish last name) and I am the face behind My Mountain Mutt. I live in a little house with my husband, 2 children, a dog, chickens and backyard deer. 

I began grooming in 2005, following in the footsteps of my best friend. What started out as a high school job turned into a long-time business. I groomed on and off over the years, pursuing different avenues of expertise (a certified dog trainer being one of them!) and they have all brought me right back to the world of grooming.

I began grooming again but, this time from home. I have worked in a variety of situations, some of them quite bleak, and due to that, I felt working from home where I could cultivate a safe, stress-free environment was best. I work one-on-one, I have a variety of products including, but not limited to, all-natural lines and I am a crate-free groomer. 

I am looking forward to continuing to build my level of expertise through practice as well as continued education courses. Thank you for trusting me with your pet and I look forward to hearing from you!
